Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Whew! The weeks seem to be flying by lately. Heck, not just the weeks, but I can't believe I'm already due for a monthly update on Jordan! She turned 17 months this past Saturday, soooooo......some new words/words I have forgotten to mention in the past are:

Her naps have gotten a bit better over the past month and most days bring us at least one hour long nap, which is FAB-U-LOUS! She may wake up around the 40 minute mark, but we leave her in her crib and within in a minute or two, she may or may not go back to sleep. She's been working on some teeth lately and had a few rough patches of crying fits when she can't figure out what she wants or doesn't want. Luckily, this seems to be easily remedy when I give her a couple teething tablets and we're back on with our day. She LOVES playing chase with DooDoo (our dog, Snickers) and the best part is that DooDoo wants nothing to do with her. Here's a video I was able to get a couple weeks ago...

Jordan also personally LOVES watching this video of herself and answers the questions I am asking as she watches with a huge smile on her face...

Other than that, she's just her normal ball of energy and fun. Even with the fake laugh she has started doing. It's quite hysterical. Happy 17 Months pretty girl!!!

The day after Jordan hit 17 months was Easter/Masters Sunday. Daba had come down on Friday to spend the weekend with us, celebrate Easter and enjoy our annual Master party with us and our friends. We started Easter morning off by giving Jordan her first real easter basket. Does she look excited or what??

We got her a couple books, some sidewalk chalk, a new spiffy pair of puma sneakers, and a few eggs filled with cheerios, raisins, quarters for her piggy bank, and a mix of cheddar and wheat Annies Bunnies. Once the chalk was out, the shoes had to go on so she could go outside and play. She was one happy little camper!

 After we finished all of our party prep, we had a little Easter egg hunt for her in the hopes that she would understand the concept. Dada hid six eggs out in the front yard, so off she went in her cute little dress and pigtails....

She didn't quite understand why I kept telling her to put the eggs in her basket. She just wanted to shake them and open them right away. All in all, it was a success though :)

The rest of our day was filled, FILLED with good golf, good food, and good friends. The only downside was knowing that we had to work bright and early the next morning. That's always brutal.

Lastly, I am way over due for my 18 week pregnancy survey, so here it is.

How far along? 18 weeks on Monday!

Weight gain/loss: I totally lost track on my weekly gain, but I do know that I am up 17 pounds total. 17 whole friggin pounds! 

Maternity clothes? Nothing new here. Well, that's a lie. I bought a few new tops to wear, but that's about it. 

Stretch marks? Nope. 

Sleep? Much better lately! Turns out, the same thing that was causing my headaches, was causing my poor sleep. I had to be adjusted twice last week to notice an improvement, but after the second adjustment, I have been feeling and sleeping SO much better.

Best moment this week? Finding out the sex of our Bebe!!!!!

Food cravings? Nothing specific really. 

Gender: I know something you don't know! Neener, neener, neener! (i'm hoping to get to that post this weekend)

Belly button in or out? Still in.

Movement? Oh yes, still nothing from the outside though

What I'm looking forward to: Putting a pregnancy announcement pic on Facebook and revealing the sex of the bebe on here! 

Milestones: Bebe's arms and legs are now proportioned and is developing a protective layer of vernix :)
