How far along? 38w yesterday
Weight gain/loss: I forgot to weigh myself yesterday morning and was up a couple lbs when I remembered, after lunch, so I'm not really sure. To be honest, at this point, I don't even care anymore =o)
Maternity clothes? Of course, but even my maternity wardrobe is getting limited at this point. Between the heat and the shirts that don't fully cover my belly, I'm starting to wear the same things over and over and over again.
Stretch marks? Counting my lucky stars on this one, I still haven't noticed any. My linea negra is a tad bit darker and is now apparent on the top and the bottom.
Sleep? Sleep has been a struggle lately. Although, I haven't been as exhausted during the day as I feel like I'm going to be when I toss and turn all night, I would still love to catch more ZzzzZZZs than I am. Out of the last five nights, I had 3 nights of waking up starving around 3:30 or 4 and not being able to fall back asleep until close to 5:30 or 6. I then had one night of great sleep and only woke once to use the restroom. Then last night, I fell asleep pretty quickly, but was up around 12 and tossed and turned for a couple hours before falling back asleep. I tried listening to my Rainbow Relaxation tracks when I was awake last night, but found that while they relaxed me, I was too annoyed with the ear bud being forced into my head because I need to lie on my side. I eventually ditched that idea and was relaxed enough to fall asleep.
Best moment this week? Our home visit with the midwives =o) This wasn't a landmark in my mind for being ready for Brynnlee to come like it was with Jordan, but I think that all the preparation that went in to being ready for their visit has really made me feel ready. The thought of going into labor no longer throws me into a tailspin of panic like it did last week. Our visit was great and it was so nice to see Jamin and La Shel again and prepare for another beautiful homebirth. It feels like just yesterday that we were meeting them and getting ready for Jordan's birth. I cannot believe how long it's really been.
Food cravings? Nothing in particular, but my sweet tooth is still very active!
Gender: Still a girl
Belly button in or out? Outie
Movement? Definitely slower, but I get the stink bug butt sticking out of the top left side of my belly and a constant elbow or knee trying to bust it's way through the right side.
What I'm looking forward to: Meeting this precious baby girl of our's!!! I am SO so ready to have this baby. I am also looking forward to getting Brynnlee's name decal for her room. I placed the order on Etsy this morning (after taking a couple weeks to make a final decision on the font) and I'm hoping it will be here in the next week or so.
Milestones: I'm more pregnant than I have ever been! How's that for a milestone?!?! I'm not going to lie, I thought for sure this little babe would make an early appearance like Jordan and I'm a little disappointed, but it is what it is. She'll come when she's ready and her special day will be perfect!
