How far along? 33w yesterday

Weight gain/loss: Up another 2 lbs, so 33 total

Maternity clothes? I'm pretty much living in my maternity shorts, dresses and skirts. Aside from the heat, I'm so over trying to squeeze this belly into pants or my maternity jeans!

Stretch marks? Nada

Sleep? Nothing to complain about lately. I get up to go to the bathroom at least once a night, but I am able to fall right back to sleep. 

Best moment this week? Hooking Brynnlee up with some PINK for her room (FINALLY)!

On Friday, I spent my lunch break at Target knowing that I wanted to purchase the canvas bins for her shelving unit. I have been putting off buying any pink because I knew that once I bought one thing, everything else would need to match the same shade and I was so apprehensive about what to buy first. Well, I bit the bullet and just went for it. To my surprise, I hit the jackpot right when I walked in the door and saw those bright pink plastic baskets in the Dollar Spot. SCORE! The big one's were actually $2.50 each, but still. I grabbed the last two big bins and two smaller one's. As I was making my way back toward the canvas bin area, I came across the lamp and decided to pick it up and try it out. When I finally arrived at the canvas beens I was pleasantly surprised to see that the color I needed was the only color on sale! Woohoo. SCORE X 2! I was so excited to get home after work to see how everything looked....only to realize that I shorted myself by one canvas bin. FAIL. I was SO BUMMED that I needed to go back to pick up another one {insert eye roll here}. So bummed that I had to go back on Saturday. I ended up going to a different location and had to make sure their Dollar Spot didn't have any fun goodies that I was missing out on.....oh, but they did! Now, I thought my $1 off sale on the canvas bins was a deal....until I saw perfectly acceptable canvas bins in the Dollar Spot. I thought it must have been a mistake, but it wasn't. They were $2.50 a piece, so I grabbed four and made sure to verify with Customer Service that I would be allowed to return the others even thought I had removed them from their packaging. Long story, semi short, I did just that today and ended up saving myself about $12! Woot Woot! 
Food cravings? Nothing to report of. 

Gender: Still a girl

Belly button in or out? Outie

Movement? Tons and tons. I'm actually paranoid that she flipped back to right side up though. I was feeling some major hiccups up by my ribs yesterday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed she was just in a crazy position at the time. 

What I'm looking forward to: Another ultrasound?? I know it seems crazy and I know tons of women are lucky to get more than one, but I would love, love, LOVE to see her again. So my fingers are crossed that Dr. B lets me have another peek tomorrow.  
Milestones: Our little babe is shedding her lanugo more and more and her lungs are getting stronger by the day. 

30 Weeks!

How far along? 30w on Monday

Weight gain/loss: I stayed put at the 30 lb marker. Lets hope that doesn't mean a couple more lbs come along next week!

Maternity clothes? pretty much everything I wear is maternity or specifically bought in a size that is comfortable with the belly.

Stretch marks? Still holding out hope that I don't get any!

Sleep? I didn't sleep well at all while Bobby was out of town, but since he's been back, it's off to snooze land once my head hits the pillow.

Best moment this week? Building Brynnlee's crib (finally) with Bobby and playing around with the furniture arrangement in her room. 
Food cravings? I still haven't fulfilled my Slurpee craving, but haven't really had anything else pop up lately either. 

Gender: Still a girl

Belly button in or out? It's definitely out unless I'm sitting or laying down.

Movement? She definitely lets her presence be known. She was getting me in a spot the other day that made me jump every time she hit it!

What I'm looking forward to: Still waiting to know she's head down and I'm also looking forward to getting my Glucose Tolerance Test out of the way. I don't have to drink the nasty drink, I get to eat 18 Brach's Jelly Beans (YUM-O!), but I'm still not looking forward to that being the only thing in my belly till 9:30 Monday morning.
Milestones: Brynnlee should almost be at the 3 lb mark and how's 30 weeks for a milestone?!?! Next week we'll be in single digit weeks! 

28 Weeks!

How far along? 28w today

Weight gain/loss: Up another pound.

Maternity clothes? Loving my maternity shorts!!! They are so comfy and cool for summer. 

Stretch marks? Of course not!!! (The power of positive thinking, right?)

Sleep? Nothing to complain about. I've been getting calf cramps when I change positions, but my instant reaction is to pull my toes back and it goes away instantly. 

Best moment this week? Getting the nursery painted!!! This is a horrible pic from my phone, but you get the idea. 

I also received the bumper on Friday and put together the little side table and her dresser. The crib is in the hall waiting to be put together.

Food cravings? Ok, sweets have taken over my life. I want something sweet or chocolatey after (or with!!) every meal. It's horrible. A 3 Musketeers jumped in my shopping cart when I was checking out at Vons yesterday. The nerve! Bobby also noticed the strawberry syrup that ended up in the mix of groceries and threatened to not let me go grocery shopping alone anymore! Haha All I wanted was a glass of strawberry milk. It's better than a strawberry shake from In N Out, right?

Gender: ummmmm, GIRL!

Belly button in or out? I don't think it's made any more progress to sticking out in the past week, but it's definitely not an innie anymore!

Movement? Constantly!

What I'm looking forward to: Getting more of the nursery put together to get a decent idea of how it's really going to look.
Milestones: Our little bebe is about 2 1/2 pounds now. Jordan was born 10 weeks from 
this point in pregnancy! Whew! We're getting down to the wire QUICK.

23, 24, 25, and 26 weeks....

  Holy crap, how did I get so behind???

How far along? 26w today

Weight gain/loss: Good grief, I don't even know the breakdown of the last few weeks, but I do know that I am up a total of 23.6 lbs. Thank goodness things have started to slow down!

Maternity clothes? Yup! I splurged at Motherhood Maternity yesterday and walked out with a maxi dress (for my Birthday - and I'm pretty sure I could wear it when I'm not pregnant too), a pair of shorts, a pair of cargo capris, and 4 nursing bras (it was buy 3, get 1 free). I figure this wont be my last pregnancy (god willing), so I might as well put the money out there and make myself comfortable. 

Stretch marks? Not that I have seen. Bobby has encouraged me to start using the cocoa butter stuff I bought last time "just in case", though!

Sleep? Still off and on, but nothing horrible.

Best moment this week? Ordering Brynnlee's bedding! It's all backordered, but I'm hoping this will arrive sometime next week so we can pick out paint and then this and this should arrive hopefully before she does!

Food cravings? The spoonfuls of peanut butter have definitely picked up and Bobby just chuckles. I think he was waiting for their return!

Gender: Still a girl ;o)

Belly button in or out? I have a lip at the top that sticks out a little and I can get the whole thing to pop out, but generally, it's still an innie......I don't know that my initial prediction of it staying in will last though!

Movement? She gets stronger and stronger every day!

What I'm looking forward to: Wearing my new dress on Friday!!!
Milestones: Brynnlee's immune system and lungs are continuing to mature and YAY for making it to viability a couple weeks ago!

Can I Get A What, What?

Bobby and I went for another check up on our little bebe on Friday. As always, it was everything but boring with Bobby and Dr. B in the same room. Everything is going great with the babe and we got to see him/her thrusting and rolling around. Here's a quick little video with Bobby and Dr. B doing their usual song and dance :)

When Bobby wasn't looking, Dr. B kept trying to check between the legs. I don't know what he thinks he might have seen, but I think after our mishap with Jordan - Dr. B told us at 12 weeks that she was a boy - we're not even willing to listen to predictions for another few weeks. We go back on the 23rd and I think we might check at that point. I'll be 15w4d, so it could still be too early, but as always, it is just a blessing that our new little one is growing, moving, and thriving away in my belly!

I've seen a considerable difference over the past few weeks and haven't had any of my morning ickiness or dry heaving. As you know from my weekly surveys, I'm still eating like crazy it seems. I still struggle to keep my water intake up to avoid any headaches, but it's been better the past few days. Most of all, I think I feel better on a whole if I keep myself busy and active. My gym time has been great for a few weeks now, going in on my lunch and then getting an extra little workout in at night in the garage after Jordan goes to bed. I did have some gnarly round ligament pain on Friday night that almost brought me to tears. I don't remember it ever being so bad when I was pregnant with Jordan, but it went away after about 10 minutes and I think it freaked me out more than anything. You'd think the second time around would be so much easier, but it's not. Maybe I'm just tainted from suffering a loss, I don't know. 

Yesterday, Bobby, Jordan, and I took a trip into Encinitas to check out the new Buy Buy Baby store that just opened. This store is going to be dangerous with another little one on the way. The best part.....they accept Bed Bath and Beyond coupons as long as they have not expired!! So long Babies R Us. Anyway, my main reason for going was to check out the stroller that has been recommended to me and that I have since been drooling over. The price tag is a jaw dropper, but I have heard nothing but good things about it and it will essentially last us through our ever growing family. Check out this bad boy. I think we also came to a decision on which room to turn into the nursery - the office. It shares a wall with our bathroom, so I have a major concern about noise if the baby is sleeping and we're doing our normal morning routine before work. We did a little experiment and tested out flushing the toilet, running the water, and shutting cabinets while one of us was in the office listening. You can definitely hear it, but once we turn the fan on, it's barely noticeable. As it is today, we tun the fan on in J's room every time we put her to sleep so that it drowns out any noise from the house. We'll just have to do the same for this little one. Other than that, I think we may end up breaking down and finally buying a gate for the bottom of the stairs today. We've been using the ottomans to block them for now and it's just becoming more of a hassle than it's worth. Especially knowing we're going to be going through this struggle again with #2. We checked them out at BBB yesterday and found one that should fit, but we still have money on some giftcards to BRU, so I'm hoping they have the same one there. I think that's about it on baby stuff. Jordan hits the 16 month mark on Wednesday and I have major intentions of posting an update on her latest developments.
