I'm supposed to be planning a Birthday Party?

How? How? How is it already time for this??
Poor second child syndrome for B. I don't have nearly as many ducks in a row for her Birthday, but I'm sticking to the same theme I used to J's first birthday, so I can't be THAT far behind, right?
I have so much going on lately and feel so behind, but that doesn't stop our precious Chunk-A-Monk from growing and learning and approaching her First Birthday at the speed of light!

She is talking more and more and making some of the most fun noises that I can't help but laugh at and then laugh at myself when I completely fail at my attempt to replicate those noises!
Her vocabulary now consists of:
Hi
Bye Bye
Baby
DooDoo
Doggy
Peppa [I think I win Mommy of the Year with this one!]
Dada
Mama [VERY rare]
Ow
Day Do [Thank You]

B is wearing 9 and 12 month clothes, along with 18 month white onesies because that's all we have. Again, poor second child syndrome.
She is still in size 3 diapers and sporting her bottom two teeth only.
She loves to walk while holding your hands, but the second you let go, she either stops her feet and her upper body falls forward, or she squats down and crawls.

B loves dancing to music and playing with her big sis. The feeling I get when the two of them are laughing and playing together is indescribable. It is the best thing ever!

She's an incredibly happy baby, but is still very attached to her mama! I don't mind a bit!
Her sleep schedule has remained the same....waking up between 6 and 7, nap around 9 or 10 for about an hour and a half, nap again around 2 or 3 for about 40 minutes, and then bedtime around 7.

As the weeks go by, my supply is getting harder and harder to maintain. I still pump three times a day at work - 8am, 11am, and 2pm. I'm hoping to make it to next Friday [she'll be 11.5 months] and then I'll start introducing a little bit of goats milk to supplement. I don't have even the slightest concern that she won't take to it. She has already managed to steal several sips of her sissy's milk when it's left lying around. From there, I think my plan will be to drop my 2pm pumping session at work and then drop the 11am session next. When that next will be is still TBD. I am so anxious for the freedom, but at the same time, I don't want to rush it. B is still so baby to me that I'm not ready to stop as soon as I did with J. One thing is for sure though.....everything will fall into place. It always does. So I'm trying not to stress about it.
This girl LOVES her some green smoothies, almost as much as she loves her milk!
Aside from her milk intake, which is at three bottles of 6 ounces while I'm at work, she still does great eating solid food. Her vegetable intake has slowed as she has found more of what she really likes to taste, but she is still a great eater overall and even know how to blow on her food when it is hot.

I love the mischievousness of a newly mobile toddler. I find her in some of the most random places and it makes me laugh and then contemplate how I'm going to keep her from ever doing it again!
B is such a gentle natured and sensitive one and I love every bit about that. When she lays her head on my shoulder or shys away from people and buries he face in my chest, I melt. I wish she would stay like that forever.
Even though it's amazing to me that she's almost a year old, I can't wait to see the beautiful little girl that she becomes. Sass and all =o)
We love you Brynnlee Bear! Enjoy your last month before your First Birthday!

29 Months

TOP LEFT Using her bagel as a phone TOP RIGHT Safety first! BOTTOM LEFT In the dog crate with Cousin JP BOTTOM RIGHT Burping her Monk Monk before heading to Bakersfield for Gma's surprise party

As J quickly approaches 2 and a half, I cannot believe sense of humor and whit that this girl has. She must pick up a lot of it from TV, but the way she uses phrases/quotes is hysterical. Some of our recent favorites include:
"Are you kidding me, mom?"
"Ah, c'mon, mama! Are you kidding me?"
"Ah, c'mon, man!"
"Swiper, no swiping!" (Took us about a week to figure out what she was saying here. Bobby and I have never watched Dora with her, but she watches it with the nanny. I finally asked her one day who Swiper was - "It's da fox!" - and then I asked what he swiped - "Dora's packpack!" Then it all made sense.)
I love that she has a complete understanding of what I am asking her now and can formulate answers that make sense. I was tearing the family room apart the other day looking for the package of wipes that I keep downstairs and I said to myself, "Ughhh, where'd I put the wipes??" She was sitting in her seat eating lunch and she says, "In da baftroom, mama." While they weren't in the bathroom, she was right because I had taken them in there with me to clean her up after having a potty accident (more on that later...).
Some other cute/fun things she says are:
"Snug as a bug in a rug." (Every night when we tuck her in.)
When we go shopping, she NEEEEEEDS this and NEEEEEEDS that! My neighbor Meghan had told me a few weeks ago about how her son was saying that he NEEEEEDED everything and now we get to experience it as well. Little toddler minds are amazing.
Instead of saying "she" or "her" J always says "he" or "him". I try to repeat what she says with the proper subject use.
"Can you help you?" (This is how she asks for help. Bobby loves this little quirk of hers.)
Lastly, she's been adding a "t" to the end of words that end in "n" and some others - and is andt, then is thent, both is boft, and bath is baft.
Size 2T clothes are getting tighter and tighter by the day and I am working on getting 3T stuff switched in. She is still in a size 6 shoe and this mama cannot wait until she fits into the 4 pairs of 7s that we have waiting. They are so stinking cute!
Coming home from work, I never know what I'm going to get. Happy J that missed mama so much, or crabby J that screams and cries and would rather me turn around and walk back out the door! Obviously, I prefer the former, but either way, I am always happy to come home and see my girls.
Potty training is the never ending battle over control. I think. Nothing has really changed. She'll do great for a few days and then revert back to a million accidents. This past weekend, I worked from home on Friday because Jordan was coming down with a cold and Brynnlee randomly threw up in the middle of the night, so when I had cleaned up throw up at 1am, a poop accident mid morning, and a pee accident at lunch, I was so over it. I decided to start a modified potty training bootcamp. I pulled the plug on all diapers and put J down for her nap without one. I wasn't going to mess around any longer. She woke up dry and I praised her up one side and down the other, got her a special treat, and talked about how fun it was to be a big girl now and how proud of her I was. The rest of the day was flawless and I just kept reminding her to tell me when she needed to go potty. At one point, I think she started to go in her pants and then told me she needed to go, so she finished on the potty, but her underwear was a smidge wet. I count this as a huge success. She totally gets it. She went to bed that night without a diaper and I woke her up before I went to bed around 10:30 and took her to the potty. The next morning, she was dry! WOOT WOOT! So, on to day two....the day itself was decent. She had one poop accident and I really don't understand why. I could tell something was up as she kind of hid behind the couch while watching TV and I kept asking her to come sit down and to remember to tell me if she needed to go potty. She would shoo me away if I got close, so I thought she had already had an accident, but when I check, she was completely clean and dry. I must have told her about 20 times to tell me if she needed to go potty and she insisted she was fine....until it started to come out. I ran over to her and could tell she had already pooped, but I scooped her up and took her straight to the bathroom. She finished in the potty and I praised and praised and praised. That day, she also woke up from her nap wet. No big deal, she's learning. Night two was fine. I saw her sit up in bed around 9, so I went up and took her to the bathroom and put her back to bed. She woke up dry again! Day three, she had another pee accident while she was playing with her toys and Bobby and I weren't paying attention. Then she had another accident in bed last night. Ughhhh, This girl. She knows when she needs to go. She knows how to hold it. So some how I need her to feel like she's 100% in control over all of this and get her completely trained. Any ideas????
Aside from that frustration and her off the wall crankiness from her bottom molars finally coming in, she is becoming such a big help. She loves to help clean, take out the trash, give sissy toys, get diapers or wipes for sissy, fetch burp rags, etc. And, as you can see, she loves helping her sissy drink her water!
 My last little gloat for this post...We were outside playing with bubbles and chalk yesterday and I look down and noticed that J was doing a great job of getting all of the chalk pieces standing up. Then I noticed.....she was sorting them by color! Color me impressed! Way to go Sweet Pea!
My little girl also managed to get quite a boo boo this past month by falling off of her chair while I was feeding Brynnlee. Full on belly flop onto the floor and look at this bad boy on her chin!
She was such a good sport and even let me wrap the ice pack around her head for a little bit!
To my sweet and sassy one,
Keep the laughs coming! You keep us on our toes and never seize to amaze us with everything that you understand and pick up. I can already tell that you are going to quote movies and TV shows just like your Dada. I love that about you, but I hope you don't expect me to keep up! Keep your random hugs and cuddles comin'! I don't ever want those to stop. You are one special little lady and I hope you know it!
XOXOXOX

I'll Be Honest....

Jordan's 23 month update is obviously a little LATE! I could easily blame this on the baby, or on life with two under two, or on some other nonsense going on in our lives, but the truth is that I find the monthly update posts so overwhelming! There is always SO much that I want to capture and my expectations for these posts are so high, that when I do find a bit of time to actually sit and type one out, I will purposely find something else to fill the time because I just don't have the brain capacity to actually write a comprehensive post that I would be remotely happy with. SO THERE! Whew!

With that said, it looks like I do have enough patience, time, and working brain cells to bust this thing out tonight.....even though I should probably just wait till her TWO YEAR update, but holy cow! That milestone definitely deserves a post of its own.

So let's see...at 23 months J's imagination has really blossomed and she is putting more and more concepts together. For instance, there was a day when I was sitting on the couch nursing Brynnlee and she was going back and forth between the family room and the play room just keeping busy. She has this little box that holds eight tiny Winnie The Pooh books and it has a string handle on the top of it. She grabbed the box like a purse and as she was walking away from me, she turned around a bit and said, "Buh-bye, mom. See ya later! Going to work now." and she walked out of the room and down the hall toward the garage door. About 20 seconds later I heard her again..."Oh! Forgot keys!" And she went into the play room, found her toy keys and headed back to the garage door. I was dying laughing. I couldn't believe how she was able to piece so many different concepts together and act them out.

Speaking of the play room, a huge THANK YOU to my hubby and my mom for getting it situated! It's not completely organized or decorated as we would like, but it's a start.
(I thought I had a picture of it, but I'll have to update with one later.)

Some of our favorite phrases/words that she uses are:
"Mama, watch this!"
"Don't worry baby, I gotcha!" (When Brynnlee cries)
"Show mama/dada" (When she has something that she wants to hold, she says this so that you let her hold it)
"Oh, der you go! Das bedda!" (Oh, there you go! That's better!)
Hog gog (hot dog)
Spooky (everything related to Halloween is spooky! And boy does this girl love her some Halloween. I am so excited for tomorrow!!)

She has successfully opened a door, but hasn't mastered the act, thank you lord!
She still takes about an hour long nap around 1pm.
After we put her down, she can take up to about 30 minutes to get all of her energy out and fall asleep, but typically it's between 15 to 20 minutes.
If you tell her that she can do something or have something at a certain time, ie. after her nap, you can guarantee that the first thing she asks for when she wakes up is exactly what you had promised. Her memory is not lacking in the slightest!
When you try to take a picture of her, she'll say cheese and smile really big, but at the same time, she squints her eyes shut and then puts her hands in front of her face! You end up with something like this...
or this...
She can count BACKWARDS from seven! (Thank you, Special Agent Oso!)
She's wearing 24 month/2T clothes and spent her last days in size 5 shoes.
I still cannot get her to leave a bow or a pony in her hair for a decent amount of time.
She had started hiding when she pooped. Either behind the couch or in the other room. I write this in the past tense because she we have quite a big accomplishment to announce in her 24 month update!!! (HINT: it may or may not include BIG GIRL UNDIES!)
Speaking of poop...those poopy diapers of her's were getting ridiculously disgusting to clean up! Unreal!
She is beyond obsessed with the iPed (no, that's not a typo, that's how she says it!) and our iPhones. It's disgusting to me how well she can actually operate one.
This pic was not staged AT ALL!
Sadly, very sadly, she has started calling me mom at times. Ughh, it came too soon! I have no clue where it even came from! ::sigh::
We don't rock her before putting her to bed anymore. It's typically a short story and then we listen to "song" (Goodnight My Love by Paula Abdul). And the reason that we don't rock her anymore is because................
Jordan is now sleeping in a big girl bed!!! Gah! Could she be growing up any faster??

When Brynnlee was just over a week old, Jordan started climbing out of her crib. Out of nowhere! She had never attempted it before, so it was a total shock to us, but it happened. She made a safe escape the very first time during a nap and it just so happened that Bobby had also left her bedroom door open because it was so hot. So he caught her roaming the hallway upstairs. That night she slept in her crib just fine. The next day we were out and about during her nap and that night, she did fine again. It was the third day, during nap that she decided to try her scaling skills again and she was not able to pull it off as gracefully as she had prior. After hearing a big thud, Bobby went in to check on her and when I heard crying, I ran upstairs to find him carrying her with bloodied mouth! I FREAKED! I thought for sure we were headed to the ER. Thank our lucky stars, after a little dabbing with a towel, there was a small cut on her lip and it stopped bleeding right away. That's what it took for us to then remove all of her toys and books from her room and put her mattress on the floor. The first step to sleeping in a real bed! We kept her mattress on the floor for a week or so and then converted her crib into a toddler bed and she has done great! She does her fair share of running circles around her room, falling asleep half on, half off the bed (see below), removing the fitted sheet from one corner of the mattress and climbing underneath it like a tent, etc., but she still gets her sleep in, so I'm not complaining!
To our beautiful, bright, persistent, playful, loving daughter,
As you approach two years old, your dada and I could not be more proud of the little lady that you are growing in to. You make us laugh, you make us smile and you make us grow a few extra gray hairs! You are so incredibly special to us and we hope you know and feel how much love we have for you.
Love you, Sweetheart!

20 Months!

Say it aint so!!! In four very short months, Bobby and I are going to have a 2 year old and a 2 month old!!
I know learning is the natural progression for kids and I know I say this month after month, but really? How do they pick up on things SO fast??? It truly blows me away. Jordan's vocabulary is unreal and so hard to keep track of.
In the past month, she has:
  • Expanded to more and more three word sentences (or can put at least three words together), like....ready, set, gooooooooo and bad boy, DooDoo or good boy, DooDoo, brush your hair, brush your teeth
  • Knows the words airplane and avion and uses them interchangeably when she hears a plane's engines or sees a plane in the sky
  • Knows where Brynnlee's room is and asks for "Bwynlee woom" when we walk by it. She loves going in it and saying, "WOW!!!", "Awwww", and "Oooooooh" as she looks around
  • Knows where the wa shee shee (washing machine) is and that it's wet inside
  • Knows DooDoo has white paws (This one truly blew me away. I still have no clue how she learned it, but she points to his paws and says, " DooDoo, white paws"
  • Has taken a liking to honey and budder (peanut butter) - so much so, that I try to hide them both!
  • New body parts that she knows: armpit, knee, elbow, and neck
  • Knows what it means for your tummy to growl
  • Knows she's supposed to say thank you after she is given something that she asks for, but she likes to wait till I give her the side eye with a grin on my face and then she starts laughing and says, "Dank Doo!"
  • LOVES chechup (ketchup) and would eat it by the bowl full if I let her
  • Still loves to watch Oso, but has taken a huge liking to Ja-aminals (Pajanimals) and Stuffins (Doc McStuffins) with Mouse (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) and Marney (Barney) mixed in.
  • Knows how to ask for hep (help) when she gets tuck (stuck - typically between the couches) or can't get something to do what she wants
  • Always says that a person is werting (working) if you ask her where someone is
  • When she is scolded for doing something she knows she's not supposed to do, she'll ask to go to time oww (time out) in her tib (crib).......she kills me with this one!
  • When she doesn't mind being rocked before a nap or bedtime, she likes to lay her head down on my shoulder with her arms around my neck. She had always been rocked in the cradle position until this past month, but more and more, she.......
  • Asks to go straight into her tib, then she freaks for about two minutes like you have totally disowned her and then she passes out
  • Seems like she has finally moved to one nap a day around 11:30 that ranges from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, with the occasional off day of needing a few more Zzzz's late in the afternoon
  • Random words that she uses: papack (backpack), pewter (computer), pull (as she grabs your hand and pulls you through the house), happened? (with both hands up and out), drop it, durry (dirty), bike, shower, hooway! (hooray!), yahhoooo!, barn, mail, and visic (music)
  • New animals that she can identify: hippo, dooda (gorilla), tab (crab), jaff (giraffe), Shamu (whale), sea ho (sea horse), and star fish
and last but not least, my new favorite thing that she does is trying to sing along to songs. A couple weeks ago, when we ran all of our errands described in this post, we were headed back to the house and this song came on the radio....

Next thing I know, I hear Jordan in the back seat singing, "Boom, Boom!" and totally head bobbing! She will now ask for the Boom Boom song and sings, "Boom, Boom", "Mmmhmmm", and "Blue jeeeans". I die. I have to get it on video.
And just because I can't have a birth month post and no pictures of her, I'll leave you with a few that I snapped on my iphone.....

    18 Months....and 19 Months!

    I cannot believe we have a one and a half year old running our house around our house! I know I say this every month, but the rate in which this child learns and picks up on things is unreal. I started this post a couple days before Jordan hit 18 months and now I'm even a week late from doing her 19 month post! Where is the time going????? I actually know exactly where it has gone. For the most part at least. More details on all of this will hopefully come soon, but the beginning of May started with still being in the midst of interning with Bootique Fitness down in San Diego. Weekends were filled with baby showers, Mother's Day, our Anniversary trip to Monterey, a trip to grandma's over Memorial weekend and all of a sudden we were into June. Luckily my internship was over, but that didn't stop us busy bees. Grandpa Flood, AKA: Dampa, and Bobby's uncle Tommy came to town, we started demo in our house in between their golf outings and Jordan's sleep schedule, and then came my birthday.

    Needless to say, we've been quite busy. Our house is now in a livable state, although my pantry is still spread out between our counter tops, our built in shelves next to the TV and our new utility closet. But enough about that. This post is about our beautiful little sponge! This girl...

    I can't even keep up with everything she says and does anymore. She is constantly throwing us curve balls and exposing new things that she understands and can say.
    She started saying "sit" in Spanish....sientate....and would pat the seat of a chair. It actually took me about a week to figure out what she was saying. Since she started saying the word over two months ago, her pronunciation has gotten amazing and she has just about perfected it. Other words from her Spanish vocabulary include: adios, vamanos, si, afuera, abre, zapato, calcetines, manos, and mas. On top of those, she understands, but doesn't use the words for her body parts; pelo, cabeza, nariz, lengua, boca, orejas, ojos, and panza. She can identify these in english as well, along with knee, elbow, cheeks, chin, buns, foot, toes, and teeth.
    Her list of animals and animal sounds has grown a bit as well. This list includes dog, cat, cow, horse, goat, sheep, frog, snake, lion, bear, fish, penguin, monkey, tiger, kangaroo, walrus, octopus, elephant, bee (yes, I know that's not an animal, but neither is butterfly and she knows that one too), pig, duck, coyote, and her latest is the shark. I was teaching her shark one night in the bath tub and I must have looked ridiculous imitating a shark because this is how much Jordan laughed when I brought her back to her room to put her jam jams on.....
    Some other random words that she has been saying for the past couple months are:
    wowers - flowers
    pata - pasta
    pincess - princess
    Gooo Dodders!! - Gooo Dodgers!! (any time she sees a sport on TV, she says Goo Dodders!)
    shopping
    wessel - pretzel
    eh plane - airplane
    tying - crying
    I tying - I'm trying
    here tums - here it comes
    werting - working
    dolfing - golfing
    chair
    conter - counter
    owside - outside
    hi ups - hiccups
    eh sited - excited
    wahburry - raspberry (I still have trouble understanding this one when she says it, but since she was really little, I have always done a little thing where I ask her for a kiss and then after she kisses me, I say, "How abooooout, RASPBERRIES!!!!" and I give her a big raspberry on the cheek. So when she can tell I don't understand what she's saying, she'll say, "How 'boooout...." cutest thing ever and SO clever!)
    She will also repeat everything you say. We haven't had too many "accidents" in that department, but we definitely need to tighten down on the vocabulary that we choose to use. A lot of the time, she will repeat a word or phrase and I'll think it's really cute, but wont think much of it.....till about 3 or 4 days later when she uses the same word or phrase in the correct context and it blows me away!
    Jordan spent her first weekend at Grandma's house while Bobby and I drove up the coast to Monterey. It was my first time away from her overnight and although it was tough, it was worth it and I think it was good for all of us. I cried leaving, of course, and I think cried after each time we talked to her on the phone or Skyped with her.....
    but seeing her face light up with excitement when we walked in the door at my mom's house was priceless! (Which reminds me.....she added a new "face" to her repertoire. Her excited face. She clenches her fists and raises her eyebrows and then quivers her face a little - if that makes any sort of sense!)
    That's about all I can think of to bore you with right now :) and like I said earlier, I'm really hoping to post on all of the other randomness that has been our lives for the past couple months.
    The End!

    Everything But the Kitchen Sink

    Whew! The weeks seem to be flying by lately. Heck, not just the weeks, but I can't believe I'm already due for a monthly update on Jordan! She turned 17 months this past Saturday, soooooo......some new words/words I have forgotten to mention in the past are:
    Wa wash - bath
    All done
    Buddles - bubbles
    Yash yash - jam jams (aka pajamas)
    Ahright
    Fowers
    Piddles
    Carrot
    Here go - here you go
    Si
    Etos - estos
    Esas - estas
    Peepeep - penguin
    Pincess
    Minnie
    Icken
    Owsite - outside
    Daba - grandma (used to be papa)
    Her naps have gotten a bit better over the past month and most days bring us at least one hour long nap, which is FAB-U-LOUS! She may wake up around the 40 minute mark, but we leave her in her crib and within in a minute or two, she may or may not go back to sleep. She's been working on some teeth lately and had a few rough patches of crying fits when she can't figure out what she wants or doesn't want. Luckily, this seems to be easily remedy when I give her a couple teething tablets and we're back on with our day. She LOVES playing chase with DooDoo (our dog, Snickers) and the best part is that DooDoo wants nothing to do with her. Here's a video I was able to get a couple weeks ago...
    Jordan also personally LOVES watching this video of herself and answers the questions I am asking as she watches with a huge smile on her face...
    Other than that, she's just her normal ball of energy and fun. Even with the fake laugh she has started doing. It's quite hysterical. Happy 17 Months pretty girl!!!

    ~~~~~~~~~
    The day after Jordan hit 17 months was Easter/Masters Sunday. Daba had come down on Friday to spend the weekend with us, celebrate Easter and enjoy our annual Master party with us and our friends. We started Easter morning off by giving Jordan her first real easter basket. Does she look excited or what??
    We got her a couple books, some sidewalk chalk, a new spiffy pair of puma sneakers, and a few eggs filled with cheerios, raisins, quarters for her piggy bank, and a mix of cheddar and wheat Annies Bunnies. Once the chalk was out, the shoes had to go on so she could go outside and play. She was one happy little camper!
     After we finished all of our party prep, we had a little Easter egg hunt for her in the hopes that she would understand the concept. Dada hid six eggs out in the front yard, so off she went in her cute little dress and pigtails....
    She didn't quite understand why I kept telling her to put the eggs in her basket. She just wanted to shake them and open them right away. All in all, it was a success though :)
    The rest of our day was filled, FILLED with good golf, good food, and good friends. The only downside was knowing that we had to work bright and early the next morning. That's always brutal.
    ~~~~~~~~~

    Lastly, I am way over due for my 18 week pregnancy survey, so here it is.
    How far along? 18 weeks on Monday!
    Weight gain/loss: I totally lost track on my weekly gain, but I do know that I am up 17 pounds total. 17 whole friggin pounds!
    Maternity clothes? Nothing new here. Well, that's a lie. I bought a few new tops to wear, but that's about it.
    Stretch marks? Nope.
    Sleep? Much better lately! Turns out, the same thing that was causing my headaches, was causing my poor sleep. I had to be adjusted twice last week to notice an improvement, but after the second adjustment, I have been feeling and sleeping SO much better.
    Best moment this week? Finding out the sex of our Bebe!!!!!
    Food cravings? Nothing specific really.
    Gender: I know something you don't know! Neener, neener, neener! (i'm hoping to get to that post this weekend)
    Belly button in or out? Still in.
    Movement? Oh yes, still nothing from the outside though
    What I'm looking forward to: Putting a pregnancy announcement pic on Facebook and revealing the sex of the bebe on here!
    Milestones: Bebe's arms and legs are now proportioned and is developing a protective layer of vernix :)

    16 Month Update...Only A Week and A Half Late!

    16 months going on 6.....it's unreal. I cannot believe how quick she picks up on things now. She's our little parrot, repeating just about everything she can that comes out of our mouths. She's started putting two and three words together and it still shocks me every time. Some of her new words include:
    Aso (Oso - Disney show)
    Manana (Banana - she used to say Mana)
    I wuh you
    Otay (Okay)
    Bean
    Bape (Grape)
    Appy (Happy)
    Mouse (Mickey Mouse - she used to say Mow)
    Marney (Barney)
    Papa (Grandma and Grandpa)
    Shush
    Inish (Finished)
    All done
    Buns
    Boo Burry (Blueberry)
    She hasn't had any new teeth come in for a while, but I'm sure her molars will be next. So far, she has her bottom and top central incisors and her bottom and top lateral incisors.
    Her obsession with Elmo seems to have taken a backseat to Oso lately, but she seems to go down the line when trying to get to watch TV. First she'll ask for Oso, then Barney, to Mouse, to Elmo. She also enjoys watching Little Einsteins and will randomly start patting her legs and then stick her hands in the air and try to say BLAST OFF! She loves when you do it with her :)
    She loves helping with laundry...
    and has also taken a liking to shutting herself in the laundry room and then calling for Mama or Dada to come let her out. Bobby and I laugh every time!
    I think she really enjoys her "toy room" and can often spend 10 to 15 minutes at a time playing by herself in there...
    We celebrated Valentine's Day with an adorable outfit that her Nana bought for her...
    and probably the biggest pancake she will ever encounter...
    She loves to make silly faces. Her "happy" face...
    Her "mad" face...
    Her "surprised" face...
    She loves reading books at random times through the day and before each nap and bedtime. She's still taking two naps that are typically only 30 to 45 minutes, but she sleeps all night still from 7pm to about 6 or 630am. The every night baths have subsided since she gets a bath with Maria every day in the afternoon and it does not seem to have effected her "routine" at all.
    She's still a decent eater, but LOVES to test us and throw her food on the floor. She loves avocado, oranges, raisins, crackers, blueberries by the pint, cheese, chicken nuggets, grapes, ketchup, and bananas.

    She's very good about asking for snacks and will bring us her bowl to fill up and then she'll run to the pantry and try to open it till we get there. And she's oh-so-clean when she eats too... :)
    She's got quite the personality and Bobby and I constantly find ourselves in hysterics over something she has done or said. Like this...
    I don't know what else to say, but Happy 16 Months Baby Girl! Your Daddy and I our so proud of the little lady you are turning into and love watching you grow (but wouldn't mind if you slowed down a bit!). You are a pure joy and our love for you grows more and more everyday <3
