How far along? 28w today
Weight gain/loss: Up another pound.
Maternity clothes? Loving my maternity shorts!!! They are so comfy and cool for summer.
Stretch marks? Of course not!!! (The power of positive thinking, right?)
Sleep? Nothing to complain about. I've been getting calf cramps when I change positions, but my instant reaction is to pull my toes back and it goes away instantly.
Best moment this week? Getting the nursery painted!!! This is a horrible pic from my phone, but you get the idea.
I also received the bumper on Friday and put together the little side table and her dresser. The crib is in the hall waiting to be put together.
Food cravings? Ok, sweets have taken over my life. I want something sweet or chocolatey after (or with!!) every meal. It's horrible. A 3 Musketeers jumped in my shopping cart when I was checking out at Vons yesterday. The nerve! Bobby also noticed the strawberry syrup that ended up in the mix of groceries and threatened to not let me go grocery shopping alone anymore! Haha All I wanted was a glass of strawberry milk. It's better than a strawberry shake from In N Out, right?
Gender: ummmmm, GIRL!
Belly button in or out? I don't think it's made any more progress to sticking out in the past week, but it's definitely not an innie anymore!
Movement? Constantly!
I'm loving the nursery! I was thinking about doing stripes for Teagan's room too. Was it pretty easy? I'm hoping the answer is yes ;)
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I totally missed your name reveal post!! Love it! It's actually going to be my next niece's name as well, so it's extra special around here :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the stripes, it is really easy as long as you pay attention to what you're doing. We messed up the measurements and the top two stripes (I think) are smaller than the rest because I realized we measured from the bottom of the tape instead of the top and just kept going with the bigger size. I wish I would have done 12 inch stripes (these started at 14 and ended at 15). My husband's trick to getting crisp lines is to use caulk over the edge of the tape. He just smears it along with his finger. The caulk is paintable and really seals off your lines. The tape just isn't enough.
I LOVE the nursery stripes and reading your post above I so want to try it. I never heard of the caulk trick along the painter's tape. So smart! You are looking great Jenni! And if it makes you feel any better, I have polished off more bowls of ice cream than I can count this week and I have absolutely no excuses!
